Product information "Computer Science Magic"
With this course, we break through the conventional, build-up computer science education by taking a direct route via ready-made example programs that can be adjusted and observed immediately via sliders. Nothing has to be programmed for this. Only then are small coding tasks implemented in step-by-step instructions. The results seem a bit magical at the beginning, but with each task more secrets are revealed.
The book contains thirteen tasks from the fields of computer graphics and physics, which show how diverse and creative programming can be with the help of ready-to-use programs. Among other things, we see how to simulate fire, water, fast flakes, trees or worms. The inspiring tasks invite experimentation and, along the way, teach the necessary basic computer science concepts that are required at higher technical schools today.
The appendix also contains an introduction to the new educational programming language Oxoscript. This language is a simplified form of the well-known Python language, which was developed especially for programming beginners.
An Oxocard Galaxy, Artwork or Science is required for editing.
