Sure, your flashing, chip-tune playing T-shirt is really cool at the party… but at some point you need to turn it off. And yes, you could just pull the battery, or maybe you’ve even sewn a LilyPad slide switch in-line. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was just a switch on the battery? Well, look no further.

This LilyPad Coin Cell Battery Holder has a small slide switch installed on the board, in-line with the power so you can shut off your project and save batteries. This slide switch is the same as on the LilyPad Slide Switch Board, so it’s not easy to accidentally turn off or on.

Just like the original Coin Cell Battery Holder, this simple board holds a 20mm coin cell battery (such as a CR2032) and gives you four connection points (two positive and two negative) for sewing into your project. Additionally, we have strengthened the battery connector on this board in order to ensure that it doesn’t accidentally pop off.

Lilypad Conductive Thread Bobbin
This is 12 meters of smooth conductive thread spun from stainless steel fiber and wound on a plastic bobbin. Use it to sew up all of your e-textile projects. This small bobbin is a great way to get into wearable electronics without the upfront cost of buying an entire spool of thread. Close to 40 feet of thread is enough to get a simple design stitched onto your shirt, backpack or hat. What sets this thread apart from the other conductive thread that we carry is the fact that it’s actually spun from 12UM stainless steel fiber making it incredibly smooth and without the loose hairs seen on other bobbins. This means that while it may not be easy to solder to, because it’s stainless, it also won’t burn up when you touch it with a soldering iron. Suitable for hand or machine sewing (as a bobbin thread). We’ve had no trouble using it for close, tight connections, but if you’re worried, waxing the thread should keep it manageable!

LilyPad Temperature Sensor
Detecting temperature changes has never been easier. The MCP9700 is a small thermistor type temperature sensor. This sensor will output 0.5V at 0 degrees C, 0.75V at 25 C, and 10mV per degree C. Doing an analog to digital conversion on the signal line will allow you to establish the local ambient temperature. Detect physical touch based on body heat and ambient conditions with this small sensor. LilyPad is a wearable e-textile technology developed by Leah Buechley and cooperatively designed by Leah and SparkFun. LilyPad ProtoSnap Plus
The LilyPad ProtoSnap Plus is a sewable electronics prototyping board that you can use to explore circuits and programming, then break apart to make an interactive fabric or wearable project. Programming the ProtoSnap Plus is easy with the free Arduino software you’ll need to program the ATmega32U4 on LilyPad USB Plus at the heart of the board. Once you’ve installed the software, you’ll be able to write and upload your own programs to the board, making it do almost anything you want. At the center of the ProtoSnap Plus is the LilyPad USB Plus microcontroller, pre-wired to a LilyPad board including a LilyPad Light Sensor, LilyPad Buzzer, LilyPad Button Board, four pairs of colored LilyPad LEDs and a LilyPad Slide Switch. Electro-Fashion, Switched Coin Cell Holder
This specially designed e-textiles coin cell holder from Kitronik has large connection points for the conductive thread. These are clearly marked to show the battery polarity. The unit also has a small power switch so that you can turn the power on and off. It uses a very thin PCB material to keep its size to a minimum.This allows it to be easily incorporated into your own e-textiles designs. EL wire 2xAA pocket inverter
Ein kleiner, tragbarer Inverter für EL-Draht. Betrieben mit 2 AA-Batterien (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten!), kann es 1 bis 8 Fuß (ca. 2,5 m) unserer High-Helligkeit EL-Draht für 10 Stunden zu fahren. Es gibt eine Taste zur Auswahl der Modi Dauerlicht/Blinklicht/Aus. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich ein abnehmbarer Clip. Wird mit einer JST-Buchse mit 2,5 mm Abstand geliefert. Um ein Stück EL-Draht daran anzuschließen, benötigen Sie einen männlichen Anschlussdraht Der EL-Inverter benötigt eine "Last", um sich zu stabilisieren. Betreiben Sie den Wechselrichter nicht ohne mindestens einen Meter EL-Draht! Andernfalls kann es zu Spannungsspitzen kommen, die den Inverter beschädigen. Wie bei allen Invertern, die wir verwendet haben, ist die 2000-Hz-Schwingung leicht hörbar. Um das Quietschen zu reduzieren, empfehlen wir, das Gehäuse zu öffnen und es mit dickem Schaumstoffband zu polstern. Etwas Heißkleber um die Kondensatoren herum kann ebenfalls helfen. Wir haben es auf diese Weise zum Schweigen gebracht. Damit haben wir unsere tolle TRON-Tasche gebaut. Coin Cell Battery Holder
This is a simple coin cell battery holder that can enclose two CR2032 batteries inside itself, and safely kept closed via two phillips head screws. Each battery holder will run batteries in series, output up to 6V, and is equipped with an On/Off slide switch and two 6" power wires (one positive and one negative) on the back.

Nähbarer CR2032-Batteriehalter
Dieser Batteriehalter ist bei weitem der einfachste Weg, um eine Batterie in ein kleines Tragbares Projekt einzubauen. Zufällig gibt es zwei kleine 1mm Durchmesser Löcher in den Metallanschluss Laschen, gerade gross genug für eine # 5 oder kleiner Nadel durch zu passieren. Eine Lasche ist mit der gemeinsamen Masse (negativ) verbunden, die andere mit +3 Volt. Dieser Halter ist für Lithium-Knopfbatterien der Grösse CR2032 (20 mm Durchmesser, 3,2 mm dick) gedacht. Diese haben fast immer 3 V und eine Kapazität von 200+ mAh. Lithium-Knopfzellen sind nicht wiederaufladbar, aber sie sind sehr leicht zu finden und in jedem Lebensmittelgeschäft erhältlich. Das Einsetzen der Münze ist einfach, der Halter ist sehr stabil und lässt sich mit einem Druck herausnehmen. Er hat eine schöne flache Kunststoffrückseite, die man für zusätzliche mechanische Stabilität einfach festkleben kann.
