La custodia è dotata di una guarnizione in gomma intorno al bordo (nera e difficile da vedere nelle foto, ma c'è) e si fissa con 4 viti da macchina. L'aspetto che ci piace di questo design è che i dadi esagonali sono incastrati in un lato e si possono assemblare/smontare tutte le volte che se ne ha bisogno. È presente un interruttore di alimentazione in vaso e un interruttore on-off in gomma (premere per accendere/spegnere). Utilizzabile con qualsiasi batteria alcalina o ricaricabile per un'uscita di circa 4,5V.
