General Terms and Conditions of Business

Terms and Conditions of Sale and Supply
Prices are stated in Swiss francs and include VAT. Subject to change and the correction of errors. We shall endeavour to abide by the delivery deadlines stated, although since we import a large number of items there may be delays.

We will charge shipping costs for postage and packaging. This amount is also subject to VAT.

For deliveries outside Switzerland, you will be responsible for paying local VAT and customs clearance costs upon receipt.

Offers and conclusion of contracts
Our offers in the online shop or contained in advertisement and price lists are subject to confirmation. There may be minor deviations and technical alterations compared to our pictures or descriptions. 

Contractual text
The contractual text is saved on our internal systems. You may consult the General Terms and Conditions of Business on this page at any time. 

Small orders
The minimum order value of the goods for each order amounts to CHF 30.00 net (except PayPal payments and cash purchases from the counter at Altes Schulhaus, Kanzleigasse 2; advance notification required).
In the event that the order value is less than CHF 30.00 net, an additional CHF 8.00 incl. VAT will be billed as a small quantity surcharge. 

Payment conditions
Payment shall be made within 14 days by bank transfer against an invoice, by payment slip or by PayPal. For PayPal payments a fee of 4% of the order value will be charged.

Private individuals are obliged to pay the full amount in advance for the first purchase upon receipt of our order confirmation containing bank details. Shipment shall occur following receipt of payment.  Discount deductions will not be recognised.

Partial deliveries / special shipments
We reserve the right to make partial deliveries, where this appears to be beneficial for swift processing. Any special forms of shipment desired by our customers shall be charged at the customary local supplement.  

Shipping costs
Shipping costs are dependent upon the value of the goods and the type of shipment and will be notified to you before placing your binding order. You can find an overview on the shipment page. 

International orders
Orders from outside Switzerland can't be activated in our online shop. International clients are kindly asked to place their orders by calling +41 56 245 81 61 or by sending an email to contact@educatec.ch
Shipping costs are determined in accordance with the applicable postal tariffs. The VAT and customs costs associated with importation shall be borne by the customer.

Guarantee

1. The guarantee conditions of the manufacturer shall apply.
2. In the event of a repair or exchange, please contact EducaTec first. You will receive an RMA no. for sending back the faulty goods. 
3. Please fill in the relevant form and include a copy of the invoice in the package.

4. The invoice provides certification of the guarantee.
5. The guarantee shall not cover damages resulting from changes or repairs by the customer, wear and tear, force majeure or the failure to comply with operating instructions.

Claims
Evident differences in quantity must be reported promptly to EducaTec AG. Claims relating to damage, loss or poor packaging must be reported immediately upon receipt of the goods by post.

Right of exchange
There is no general right of exchange.

Reservation of title
The goods shall remain our property until payment has been made in full. 

Cancellations
Cancellations of open orders cannot be accepted, especially for items not held in stock.
